Saint Leo offers two MBA programs designed to assist students further their professional careers and goals; a two-year weekend MBA program located on our University Campus in Saint Leo, Florida and an online program. By offering an online MBA, Online MBA with concentrations in Accounting and Criminal Justice, and a two-year weekend MBA program, Saint Leo is able to meet the needs of recent college graduates, working professionals looking to advance their careers and the international community.

Criminal Justice Concentration - MBA
The curriculum is designed to yield an understanding of business and criminal justice principles, the ability to utilize decision processes, a knowledge of functional operations, and the ability to work effectively in today's ever changing business and law enforcement environment.

General Business Concentration
Saint Leo University's Distance Learning MBA Program enables our students to earn their degrees in the most convenient and efficient manner possible- over the internet. This innovative program utilizes the latest in Internet technology, including streaming videos, chat rooms and CD-ROMs.

As a Saint Leo University MBA Student, you will gain a deeper understanding of the key functional areas of business. Courses focus on managing the complex interactions between these functions when defining and solving real-world business problems. In addition to the development of analytical tools, emphasis is placed on leadership, communications, teamwork, ethics, and the skills for managing diversity.

Students may choose to complete the 12 required courses (three semester hours per course) in as few as 12 months by taking two classes per 8-week term. In keeping with Saint Leo University's commitment to personalized attention, over the internet MBA classes will have no more than 25 students to ensure students have ample interaction with faculty.

The curriculum as outlined below is designed to yield an understanding of business principles, the ability to utilize decision processes, a knowledge of functional operations, and the ability to work effectively in today's ever changing business environment.

Healthcare Management Concentration
The curriculum is designed to provide an understanding of healthcare management fundamentals, the ability to utilize decision processes, a knowledge of management concepts, and the ability to work effectively in today's fast-changing environment.

Human Resource Administration Concentration
The curriculum is designed to yield an understanding of business, the ability to utilize decision processes, a knowledge of functional operations specifically as they relate to the management of Human Resources and the ability to work effectively in today's ever changing business environment. The main purpose of this concentration is to provide an opportunity for today's dynamic HR professional to study current issues and concerns.

Students will learn/review theories and applications involved with people management. Current topics such as training, selection, compensation and legal issues will be studied in depth.

Information Security Management Concentration
The importance of information systems security and the need to protect the resources in a company?s information system are the basis for the Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Information Security Management. This degree will ensure that graduates have sound technical skills and business knowledge.

Managers who have knowledge in both the technical areas and management are needed to lead the technically qualified individuals who are in the forefront of the war against those who would prey upon us via electronic media. This is where the need arises for graduate Information Security Management education. Information Security Management educates managers to locate the information resources and knowledge in a company and find ways to protect that knowledge as it is acquired, distributed, and stored.

Sport Business Concentration
Saint Leo University has developed a Business Administration program with a concentration in Sport Business to meet the needs of working adults. Our Online MBA program allows you to expand your professional competencies within and beyond the classroom.

Master of Science (MS)

Criminal Justice
The Blended Master of Science in Criminal Justice program is for those professionals who wish to complete the graduate program by delivery modes other than traditional campus classes. The blended program offers classes in a variety of delivery formats; for example online, FTT (video conferencing) and campus, including the Institute for Excellence in Criminal Justice Administration. The capstone course CRJ 590 is not offered in an online format.
