Santa Barbara Business College is one of the oldest colleges in California and the country. The College was founded in 1888 as a California business college and normal institute. Normal institutes trained teachers at the turn of the 20th century. The primary curriculum focus throughout SBBC's long history has been business. In recent years, curriculum offerings have expanded to include programs in Allied Health, Information Technology, Paralegal and Criminal Justice in addition to the traditional Business offerings. Career Services' primary objective is to obtain and develop job opportunities for graduates to achieve maximum placement satisfaction.
