Normal institutes trained teachers at the turn of the 20th century. The primary curriculum focus throughout SBBC's long history has been business. In recent years, curriculum offerings have expanded to include programs in Allied Health, Information Technology, Paralegal and Criminal Justice in addition to the traditional Business offerings.
